laker67
Wow. I know Eric, he is a great fisherman and well deserves this trophy. Remember, you guys only have a few more days to top that eighteen pound mark. Go get em.

ruthead
Congrats on a beautiful fish. Was introduced to him this past summer there. Just stinks we can't get back down there for approximately another 2 months 23 days and 17 hours and 42 minutes! Maybe a few minutes sooner if I can get the wife to hold it and skip a bathroom stop on the road!~! Brian K. Shaffer
Congrats to Eric... what a fish... nice to see it happen to such a cool friend too! I caught one real similar to that looking fish down in Arkansas 10 years ago. (it never got weighed, but I guessed it at 12 or so) I am saving up for a Boga now. Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
Wayne SW/MO
I have to smile about that. I can just hear him telling his Idaho buddies about a 15lb rainbow, and their jaws dropping when he adds Missouri to the story. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman. Missouri and arkansas offer so many big fish opportunities, that is hard for me to travel to those far away places. My only want list is argentina and chile. Eric usually spends the fall and winter here in missouri and leaves his buddies out west holding the bag.

Brian K. Shaffer
Its all about the shoulders on that fish if you ask me.. Sorry, but I have to show my fish for the shoulder significance of Eric's fish : Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now. Bman
Eric, awesome fish! I released this one 2 years ago, fall of 2011. Could it be??? The same fish??? The Kype, coloring, body type? Maybe...I would like to think the fish I released that day is still alive and doing well and being enjoyed by others. The only good line is a tight line
