Dutch Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Why would they die off? I really don't have a clue but it happened on Bull Shoals then on Pomme de Terre. The population at Stockton has been way down for the last 4 years.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 10, 2013 Author Root Admin Posted February 10, 2013 I did hook one white (didn't see it but sure it was a white) yesterday while fishing in 14 feet of water.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 10, 2013 Author Root Admin Posted February 10, 2013 A friend told me water up in Long (Cricket in Arkansas) is pretty muddy. He only caught one crappie- and he's a native, knows what to do. Very slow.
Josh Holt Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 The whites are their at point 15 and in the james ive caught a crap load of them crappie fishing and caught a bunch the other day on a rattle trap in the james arm they are their they just wont hit much right now i caught a couple on swimming minnows and sliders but we got on them really good with a rattle trap and a shad rap and caught a few on a cb bass fishing by peach orchard
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 10, 2013 Author Root Admin Posted February 10, 2013 That's what I thought. I couldn't put the swimming minnow down for a rattle trap but I had a feeling if we threw it we'd get some.
