Members jlinmo226068 Posted February 12, 2013 Members Posted February 12, 2013 Hello I came across a good deal on some 9" worms i usually only use 10" I was womdering if any of you guys have been using them with any success and if so if you would be willing to tell me what colors seem to work for you Thanks
Members nobutt56 Posted February 12, 2013 Members Posted February 12, 2013 i use 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, &13 inch worms. i think the larger you go the larger the bass. but little bass will hit any size...so will the large bass. but as a general rule the larger you get in size..the fewer bites but general quality will be larger. just my experience for what its worth. even then there are exceptions. thats the reason bass fishing is always a challenge.....and fun! my best colors are green pumpkin for day and plum or black at night.
Josh Holt Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I use all sizes, for day i use alot of different colors my personal favorites watermelon candy green pumpkin and watermelon red for day time and for night I use cany bug plum blueberry junebug red and black emerald
Sprint21fter Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I use 10inch powerbait, Zoom, culprit worms when it gets warm and the fish are buried in deep brush or trees. Motor oil, Tequilla Sunrise, Black and Blue, Plum, Plum Apple, Watermelon Red. Caught fish on all these colors during the day and night. At, night I think it is all about profile and vibration unless the moon is overhead.
Feathers and Fins Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 6 to 8'' worms as a rule for me, I watch what gets ran down after rains and its typically in that size range. Now in late spring when i start seeing a lot of water snakes I will go up or down in size to match their size and try and match their coloration. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

Guest Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 My personal favorite is the Manns jelly worm 8" #1 Black grape (stained water or night fishing) #2 watermelon red #3Black grape/firetail in real muddy nasty water with a tungsten weight. This color is real hard to find so I order them online. Specifically for high & muddy water

rps Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 If you want a walleye bite, fish jigs with trailers . The second best accidental walleye bite is wiggle warts. If you are prepared to be really serious about walleye, send me a message.
