mic Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I've been watching this guys series of videos. He has some pretty good tricks. Anyway, check out this Antron Egg method. I'm so going to try this one out.
Members Yakfly Posted March 7, 2013 Members Posted March 7, 2013 Neat idea, but for simplicity, try the pom-pom egg. Craft store pompoms can get a range of sizes and colors for very cheap. Glue onto hook shank and fish on.
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I like the YK2 myself. It doesn't get much easier. I think the original was probably a failed attempt at tying a glo bug. I believe the two colors makes it more effective, just as two different color eggs tends to be. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Jason R. Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Dang it I thought I was the only one to figure this out. Neat idea, but for simplicity, try the pom-pom egg. Craft store pompoms can get a range of sizes and colors for very cheap. Glue onto hook shank and fish on. http://flyinthesouth.com/

Jason R. Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Nick, Got a link to the Miracle fly? Its a normal yarn egg tied on a jig head- usually 1/100th. They work. Tried this antron egg method with "congo hair" and it makes a great looking egg fly- glad you posted that mic. http://flyinthesouth.com/
Nick Williams Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Here's Jeremy tying it. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=A7f0APLxkbY&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DA7f0APLxkbY - Nick
