WeekendWarrior Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 When it is cold/rainy I wear cheap pair of jersey gloves covered up by cheap pair of dishwashing rubber gloves to keep hands nice and dry.
Members Grappling Coach Posted March 7, 2013 Members Posted March 7, 2013 During duck season this last winter, my wife found a forum where they were talking about gloves. What they recomended, which worked great for us, was to wear jersey gloves with chemical gloves over them. We ended up using the rubber gloves that she uses to put chemicals on women's hair that she gets at the beauty supply store, which come in different sizes. While setting out and picking up decoys, my hands stayed warm and dry. If they did get wet, I simply put on a dry pair of Jerseys. The rubber gloves also held everything tight, so that I had good dexterity with my fingers.
Bill Babler Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 Did not hear a crappie report from Long Creek. Just like the folks in the know here. A few dying shad are ok. Lots of them is a super bad deal. Personally I get the heck away from them. Even on Taneycomo if there are just rafts of them the trout will not do as well on artificial.. If there are a scattered few, My gosh, Brace your feet and get a grip, cause your gonna get bit very hard. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
