Members Fishman1227 Posted March 17, 2013 Members Posted March 17, 2013 On Table Rock what do Crappie bite the best on?? I was thinking of trying Pink Minnows!!
Jason Essary Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Best we have found is ice blue swimming minnows, also try blue thunder (blue back pearl belly) purple and that smoke back with pearl belly. depends on where you go and the water clarity. Change often, sometimes its sunny and they want one, few clouds come over and the color will change in seconds. Members Cblaine Posted March 17, 2013 Members Posted March 17, 2013 Yes Woody55555 I do have a red and white ranger. Did you see me out on the water?
abkeenan Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 My go to is just a plain smoke swimmin' minnow. Throw it 90% of the time.
Seth Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 We had our best luck on black/chart and orange/chart tubes and straight chartreuse swimming minnows this past weekend. Orange/chart and black/chart tubes are my go to lures for crappie everywhere. They rarely let me down.
Members Fishman1227 Posted March 19, 2013 Members Posted March 19, 2013 Thanks Guys, a lot of good info posted on here!!
Sam Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 My go-to is a pearl swimming minnow, usually with the tail dipped in chartreuse soft-lure dye. I keep all the colors with me though and change frequently - if something's not working there's often another color that will.
Members Woody55555 Posted March 19, 2013 Members Posted March 19, 2013 Yea CBlaine, that was a nice ranger. I figured it was you with your 3 boys. you were south of the marina for a short while then headed north when the wind picked up. I was in a red/silver/black ranger bass boat. How'd you guys do? I was late to the party but still managed to grab 13 keeps until i had enough of the wind. I got down there around 10 and left by 3....
