Bomber Deep Flat A will catch bass in the same places a wiggle wart catches them,

Also, the Norman Middle N and Deep Little N are tough to beat

+1 on the deep flat A's. They pull along the bottom just about like a wart, really stay in front of the fish.

they seem to cast better into the wind as well, warts tend to drag in the wind.

Good in colder temps also. My coldest water crankbait fish were on the flat A at LOZ in water that was 39-41 degrees. Wouldn't get near a wart.

Dave has been one of the pros at BPS tuesday night seminars for at least the last 3 years along with Doc Seger, Kelley Powers,Rick Flint, Ricky Clemens etc. They also have attendance prizes I have been Lucky enough to win A BPS cranking Stick ,a Strike King Red Eye spinnerbait kit, Chompers Shakey Worm kit and a pack of Chompers Webb Tail spoons and whenever Mike Webb apears he usualy hands out O 'Rielly caps or T shirts. They are starting up again in April but I don't think they have set the date yet.

We are blessed to have some good folks who make up the "local talent". Not every area is as fortunate. Having BPS doesn't hurt either.

Eh, Barker . . he overheard me explaining to Roland Martin how to fish Warts one late evening at the old Rock Lane Lodge. We were trolling for spinnerbaits in the smoke filled lounge, talking up one particularly fine boozed-up specimen and Roland got all boastful about how he though the Hot-n-Tot was a superior bait and I had to shut him up cold and correct him in front of this broad he was hitting on that it was not a better bait and he just didn't know how to fish a Wart proper-like and of course there was Barker sidled up to us picking up some puppy dog table scraps. I remember him writing it down, and Good for Him that he knows how to take good notes and still be able to repeat it back all these years later.

The reason he's know Warts is that you took him out on the poositania often enough something had to rub off!
