Anyone had any luck using this rig?

It's a lot smaller than a typical umbrella rig at only about 3 1/2" long and it comes with some small jigs to go with it, and the three wires make it legal in Missouri. I went ahead and bought one just on the main fact that it looks like something you can throw a lot easier without getting tired and I don't need a special rod to throw it with. I replaced the small jig heads with some 1/8oz jig heads and some 3 1/2" paddle tail swim baits. the only problem I see with it is that it might be too small for the bigger baits and it might get tangled on the cast.

Someone makes a stealth version with Fluorocarbon leaders to replace the wires. The western guys who fish the clear highland lakes love them.

I did get a pair of them Friday, and I was surprised at how small they are. Have yet to fish them but will do so later this week. I'm thinking they might be all right for shallow whites, but we'll see. I'll use the baits that they came with just because of the low impact when they hit the water.

I can't picture this? It would seem anything with leaders would tangle.

I don't think they are something I would want to use very often, but I do intend to try one at Truman. It can get pretty competitive below the dam and I suspect it might be necessary to throw one just to stay up with the crowd.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Wayne have you tried the donkey rig down below the Truman dam? It might give you an edge with 2 side by side baits.

It's made by Castaic....it's called the Invisarig spider rig. The fluorocarbon is about 250 test or something strong like that
