Gents.... I had plans to crash your party Friday but my grandbaby isn't cooperating... he doesn't want to come out and play.

My daughter's due date was Monday so I have to stay close so we can run down to Rogers when we get the call.

NFOW is on my short list this spring.

I'll send out a message tomorrow after this rain gets done and have a better idea what the river is going to do. I'll be here with some buddies regardless of the river level and while I don't expect it to completely blow out, it will all depend on if we get 1" or we get 3 inches. Looking forward to the weekend and anyone wanting to fish Friday we can get you shuttled no problem.

Justin...Where's this place at in relation to your campground? This isn't the place with the new concrete takeout that I've floated to a couple of times is it?

I plan on being there Friday morning sometime and spending some time fishing.

Do you guys have any plans for evening meals or is it just fend for yourself each night?

It's the same turn off the highway as Sunburst, but the first right on the gravel as opposed to the 2nd. Stop by the campground or call me when you get in. 417-274-1319. I'll have something to throw on the grill Friday, and fish fry on Saturday night.

Looking at the gauge data at Tecumseh looks like a nice bounce (at least so far). Justin, I can bring some deer steaks, homemade bratwurst and italian sausage for Friday night. Also still willing to do a big batch of biscuits and gravy for Saturday morning, assuming there's an oven available. Let me know anything else you'd like me to bring. Thanks again for doing this.

That sounds awesome! We have an oven so B&G would be great as well, we will reimburse you for your generosity, and just know you will be required to attend any of these gatherings from here until eternity.

Yum, yum, we'll grill whatever time we want to. I would guess sometime between 6 and dark or whenever stuff arrives. People will be rolling in at all hours, I know a couple will be coming in between 7-8, some well after dinnertime, and some I really don't know about.

Sean what time are you guys planning on being here?

Looks like the river is going to be fine, hoping it will keep rising a little more, it should once the rain from the upper end gets down here, don't think we got enough to cause any problems.

I was thinking about bringing some bacon wrapped asparagus for the grill on Friday for a side and a couple dozen homemade hot wings we can throw on the grill for an appetizer.<br />Since we have a kitchen to use I can throw together a batch of cheesy corn and maybe some cornbread to go with the fish on Sat night.<br />Justin , if you know of anything else you need just let me know. I'll be hitting Sam's Club and the grocery store this afternoon so I can pick up anything you want. How about paper plates and utensils so we don't have to mess with dishes? Just say the word....Jeff

I got paper plates, cups and forks, makings for Cole slaw and baked beans, tortilla chips and salsa. Looks like things are coming together.
