First of all I want to thank Bill for one of my best fishing days ever. We had a great time, and time just flew by.

Also, this is a showing of how good of a fisherman Bill is, he made sure I was always in position, when the fish were on the a rig, he did not fish the same bait he wanted me to have first crack at em. He has always made sure that I am getting the best bait to present to the fish, his fishing is secondary.

The equipment you are using with him is the best, rods, reels, and the boat is clean and ready to go.

In addition we had to old guys in the boat just having a grand ol time.

Bill Thanks very much.

Don, thanks. Very few days do I get a solo-bass fisherman that can just about do anything with any kind of equipment. It is really a treat for me to take you and I always look forward to it. We had to wait a spell cause of the weather, but being able to do that made things work out more than good.

That was one of those great days that the Rock will give up from time to time and it keeps us gong time after time.

I always want my boat and equipment to be on everyones bucket list and even if it isn't I want it to be the best you have ever used and as problem free as possible. "Knock on Wood." Appreciate that you notice, and my goal is to make it better everyday.

Again, the pleasure was most certainly mine and I look forward to out next outing.

Good Luck and God Bless

I'm also a fan of the Super Duty. It has a really low profile and is incredibly light weight. I made the mistake of letting a friend try it out a couple of weeks ago and it was all I could do to get it back from him. I have mine paired with a Falcon Amistad and am extremely pleased with the setup for throwing the A rig.

Anyone that fishes an Alabama Rig would have a very had time putting a package together finer than that. Pairing with the Amistad adds quite a bit of function outside the A-Rig for you and for sure makes that a very high-end multi-purpose combination.

Good Luck

Bill, what colors do you prefer/use most often in the McStick jerkbait? Or do you think it doesn't matter?

Thanks,

Tom

What a great couple of fishing days you've had Bill! Of course hind sight is 20/20 as they say but I did notice that 3/26 was rated a 4 Star "Best" day, 3/27 was rated a 4 Star "Seasons Best" day and 3/28 rated 3 Star Better++ day on the old Solunar Calendar. I know some folks don't believe in the Solunar periods but I am a follower and have been for years. Even to the point of scheduling my fishing trips around the best days of the month. More than not it has proven true as long as the weather cooperates and the lake is not turning chocolate color. Just wanted to add this comment and see if others follow the solunar calendar including minor and major periods. Keep up the great reports Bill, they are very much appreciated.

Ditto on those McStick colors. Also, take a look at the new Spro Blue (a play on words on the "Pro Blue" color by Megabass). It will work very good, too. Other new colors are Dirty Bone, Ayu, Chrome-blue (like Lucky Craft's aurora black) and a good ol' gold-black. There's also a new pearl color with a strip of grayish blue down the back.

That Spro Blue is nice. Packed two brand new ones Wed. after finding them at Cabelas. Have a Chrome Shad that looks like it is in pain from being chewed on.
