BilletHead Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Not to sure where to post this report. It is the Sac River but not above Stockton where most fish. I will tell you it is below Stockton and above the 82 Access near Osceola. Water temp 43 degerees. Flavor of the day was #5 shad rap in shad and crawfish colors and a small countdown rapala minnow. We caught eight and kept seven, the other was a keeper but the guy with the tape measure (me) did not read it right Six of our fish must of been out of the same year as they were 3.5 to 4 pounds. Eggs were bloody and seperated and this bunch will dump soon, males were milting. We did have the fly rods but kind of slow and I was fish hungry so never got built. Mrs. Billet Head will have a grilled meal when she gets home from work. The fish with my fishing buddy. Pulled up to a gravel bar for the snap shot.
