I will be heading to table rock lake for my first time from April 10th-13th. I was wondering how I should expect to fish and what kind of lures I should use. I will be fishing by the bass pro shops long creek marina since we are renting from the marina. Looking for any tips on where to fish what lures to use and what to look for. Any help would be appreciated. Will be fishing mostly bass with maybe a little crappie fishing if it picks up. Any help is appreciated!

Crawdad cranksbaits 4-10ft divers, 1/2oz football jigs w/twin tail grub- watermelon green, txrigged lizards, jerkbaits, buzzbaits and spooks. Hit main lake pockets and points around the marina, or go up brushy creek and long creek fishing transition banks.

There is a ton of reports being posted pretty much every everyday. Just look at what Bill Babler and others have posted lately. A WEALTH of info that should be more than enough to point you in the right direction with everything from baits, depth and types of locations.

Best Tip...Read this forum. Even go back 2-3 years and see the trends. 2011 might be tough with the flood, but there is some much here. If it is studied and put into action you can catch fish.

^^^ This is the best advice anyone can give!!!
