Members jshipman23 Posted April 10, 2013 Members Posted April 10, 2013 My father was telling me that there's a parking fee but I looked online and didn't see any. Does anybody know if they have one?
jdmidwest Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 It goes to the James Foundation, the curators of the park. They hit you up at the gate as you go in. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Jack Jones Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Well worth it though. Last time was there I really liked that park and the museum, even if I didn't catch a fish. "Thanks to Mother Mercy, Thanks to Brother Wine, Another night is over and we're walking down the line" - David Mallett
Al Agnew Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Yep, but there often isn't anybody at the gate during the winter, which is the only time I go...I use it to access the river below the spring branch. I've always driven right in and have never been hit up for a parking fee.
mic Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 There is no parking fee in the winter. Only when the park is "open" and fishing tags are required.
