grizwilson Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Seen this stuff, thought it might be good on a canoe or boat has anyone tried it? Thanks http://airboatcoatings.com/ “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein
taxidermist Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I used a product called steel flex on my 22 ft aluminum boat, it is a 2 part compund with teflon in it. sure makes going down BUffalo River easier. Its been on there about 4 years.
gotmuddy Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I use coat-it by goop. works great, much cheaper than steel flex or gluvit, and you can reapply without removing all of it. it wont work well on a canoe, because canoes flex too much. maybe on a aluminum canoe. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
