mic Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 First, thanks Lilley. Since I ask for this I should probably go first. Went out on Sunday for about an hour. Had a good day until I got the super tangle and called it quits. I'm still doing well on inline spinners, but the old standard, gold Rapala minnow was getting hot. Wet Lines, MIC
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 24, 2013 Root Admin Posted April 24, 2013 There are a lot of things that could be offered here... I'd like to see pictures of various ponds. Best ways to build ponds. How to stock a pond, resources, kinds of fish. And of course >show the fish< I grew up fishing farm ponds, rock quarries, tanks and strip pits. This should be fun!
laker67 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I grew up fishing creeks and farmponds as well. My dad knew every farm pond in camden county, and owning a tavern it was easy for him to buy a few beers to gain us access to the property. I wish I still had some ponds to fish these days. Things change, ownership changes, and most of the ponds we fished, have since silted in because people just let them go. take the long rod to a pond this time of year, and you never know what you will catch. It will be interesting to see some pics and stories.
