If I had a wish to come true it would be ACE to put in place no wake zones in the narrow creeks and river arms like from Holiday Island to the dam and other areas that are narrow. I get why dock owners get mad and I have been swamped myself by some of these wake makers. Courtesy and respect for others fails them and yes I know the law on being responsible for your wake but who is enforcing it? the invisible water patrol.

Tenkiller in Okla has it right.

Its only 12,000 acres but its got the heaviest boat traffic per acre of any lake Ive ever seen.

Every cove on that lake is no wake at the mouth to the back. Some of the mainlake pockets are no wake.

It keeps the water fleas and mega yachts from crashing the party. Theres plenty of mainlake madness for that.

More lakes should adopt the no wake areas, even tho it takes longer to get from spot to spot.

Its worth it.

It would be perfect for me. I use to love float tubing for fish but I don't dare do it around here because of the lack of safety and respect people show. There is nothing funner than being towed around by a big fish in a tube or for just relaxing or exercise.

those big boats we are all cursing are dock owners. go figure. make a ripple around their dock and see how they react, but it is ok for them to wash everyone else up on the bank, and tear up anyone else property and equipment. the insanity needs to stop somewhere.
