That power pole thing. Ain't that those two, sometimes one depending on your budget, things sticking up in the air back by the motor. The lazy mans anchor that you can't anchor in water over a few feet deep?

They bit really well last weekend while in my tournament on Stockton , threw them all back but had one over twenty inches. My buddy duplicated it with several more the next day , he realsed his aswell. They were all grouped up on this one under water bluff. I had never caught a walleye on a Texas rig senko before , but they wanted it . Kinda strange usually get them on crank and jerk baits

The power pole is about 1500 bucks , 3000

With two of em. iit extends a pole at a max of 8ft down. To anchor your boat. I would say around here if your not fishing Truman , the thing is useless. In my opinion. Just another tool people want .

I hear Stockton's on fire for walleyes right now, and they're biting better on the bluffs than the points. Wish I could get out there, but I'm stuck at home for awhile. It's cool (to me) that you released your eyes while fishing competitively for other game. Just seems like the right thing to do.

I pull cranks a lot. Funny, since I started targeting walleyes I've probably caught my 25 largest bass ever. And released them all, I think. :)

My thoughts on all accounts. I guess a lot has changed since I uses to fish the lakes all the time. We very rarely ever anchored. Unless we were catting.

For anyone who's wondering...this was a tongue-in-cheek listing of a walleye fisherman's gripes about bass fishermen. The point of view turned out to be a little on the edgy side, though, so after getting some feedback I dusted it. Sorry for any confusion.

Too bad, I think I would have enjoyed reading it (even though I'm a bass fisherman). Sometimes people get a little too thin-skinned.
