Nice!

Buddy & I did some backroads out-the-window hunting in yesterday mornings cold rain. Only found one, but it was a monster. Top was wider than a laid-down Dew can, and the can vanished up the stalk.

I can't dance like I used to.

Leonard, what temp and how long do you dehydrate the morels for?

Are these all from new spots Leonard, or were you able to get back into your old spot?

angela found most all of these..
still cant get back into the back woods where I should be... but if no one found them this year... then there will be a ton of them next year...

This year has been a odd one I think...

she said... most all came from cedar trees...

Jd...

I run the dehydrator for 5 hours at 130-140..
last night on the 2nd batch... 135-145... for 7 hours...

I wanted to turn them into a powder for morel season for soups and stews

We really need a dry spell, ground is so saturated that I see salamanders heading tor the high spots..

You guys must be really rotten on that side of the state to be getting all of that fungus to grow!
