Members soxpac
I throw wacky rigged senko's around docks, brush piles ECT. When should I use the wacky jig head vs weightless? Mitch f
The only reason I can think of is deeper water. It's hard to fish a slow moving bait in deeper water, especially with wind "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
exiledguide
Mitch I agree I have been throwing wacky worms since 1999 and I've never had much luck using the jighead. I think it defeats the purpose I like that bait to fall really slow. I also would not limit myself to senko type worms on a calm day a 6" needle worm can get you a lot of bites and sometimes a tube rigged wacky style can be productive but I have to say that a watermelon candy Chompers salty sinker on a3/0 Mustad Red weedless wacky worm hook would be my choice. Good luck and remember there's a bunch of ways to fish wacky style
