Bassmaster21 Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I am planning on making a few trips out to Springfield Lake next week and was wondering if the grass and hydrilla has greened and started to grow up? Especially on the main lake? That and the water temperature will dictate the plan of attack for the day. Those, and what we decide to fish for, bass or crappie haha. Thanks to all
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 It is growing by the day, The frog bite was on last weekend. I didnt even go out to the main lake, fished mainly around the nature center trails, lots of bass on beds and the moss is starting to get thick. Havent tried crappie to much this year, those suckers can be hard on that lake
luckycraft Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I like the hydrilla because it deligates where the river channel is. It is nice to know where it is not to ruin a prop. I know now but lesson hard learned. Main lake bite should be good on bass. River channel is where you will find the crappie
