Got to the lake at 2pm and launched at 12 bridge, started trolling as soon as I turned the boat around with 5m flicker shad in white. water temp 74 wind light. First Crappie came about 100 feet in to the troll and it just kept happening.

Had a guest along and got him his largest smallmouth at 15 '' and not 5 minutes later he bested it with a massive 20'' smallmouth. Always great to see someone take a PB but then to best it was awesome. We caught 18 crappie, 14 whites 3 hybrids 1 bluegill 2 smallmouth 1 largemouth and a very healthy chunky Walleye. Finished and at the dock by 6pm and Crappie in the belly at 6:45. That's a great afternoon.

And here is the invitees

Heard there was a major algae blum around Praire and that the water was red colored, was it that way around 12 bridge/beaver shores area?

Nice!! It looks like 12 bridge is holding some fish. Any news on them stripers??

I thought the biggest crappie was a white bass at first glance, that things a tank!

16'' Trophy,

Wilson we marked stripers out in the middle between the point where the crappie are and the island No shad so didn't try them, Super long arches and many of them I almost thought about getting shad but the crappie kept biting and its hard to pull off a good bite and nothing like crappie in the pan :)
