thewhitesnoop Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 What's wrong with many streams right now is a combination of things..... 1. Poachers along with catch & keep 2. otters 3. last years drought 4. poor management by MDC (i.e. opening bass season on Memorial weekend) 5. spotted bass 6. giggers killing bass 7. Increased fishing pressure do to people finding good fishing spots on internet message boards This is all a lot for the bass to overcome and fully populate a stream.
Hog Wally Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I have protected my tributary that runs through my property and if you keep the 1) hillbillies 2) slob city slickers 3) kids with no parental guidance 4) people from Illinois ? Believe it or not these idiots drive all the way to Lonedell for a bucket of ten inch bass You can have a nice fishery. My goggle eyes are the best I've seen in 15 years
Kayser Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Hey now, not all of us from IL are after a bucket full of 10" bass. Unless they're spots. Those are pretty tasty. WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
Hog Wally Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Invitation is still open Kayser. Get your butt out here and catch em
