Awesome only word to describe it... Kept 2 crappie 2 white and a nice 24inch walleye. Im not sure how many fish WC and I caught but it was a lot all was good till a 4lb largemouth decided the hook in its mouth looked better through my thumb lol. Walleye were everyplace points, flats, open water heck could have been flying in the sky. Water temp was 72 and surprisingly not much debris.

The biggest walleye came off the back side of the first island out from 12 bridge. I really cant pin down any one spot we fished from Beaver shores to both islands at 12 bridge back of the 12 bridge cove fish were just biting good they were in 25 fow and as the afternoon went on went in to 12fow. Just a great day and yes I was trolling flicker shad 5m 6m 7m white.

Thanks Scott for taking me out again, it was nice and relaxing after a long day of work. I learned today how important it is to have a first- aid kit on board when you go fishing, I'll make sure I get one before my next outing. (BTW, I still think you should of kept that darn bass for dinner after what it did to you!!)

Yeah I've got one in the boat,... somewhere.....need to remember to look for it next time I'm in the boat. Nice to know where it is BEFORE a sharp object finds flesh.

Quill, mine is a DIY in a 3 tray tackle-box the kits are nice but no way have enough stuff IMO and being small they tend to get lost or hard to find and never replaced enough. I learned years back how important it was to have a heavily stocked first aid kit and replace everything that needs it every 6 months. A full stock is costly but sure is nice to have when needed. My problem is I use the Dikes for fishing lol.

I tried your spot by the way the next morning. Someone was already fishing that area so I decided to idle over the area in question and watch the graph. I was in 15-18ft and sometimes 12ft so I zig-zagged the area to see if the fish were still in 15ft. Hardly a fish at all.

Not only did you catch a lot of them, you scared them to death so they left the area! :XD:

I'll have to try it again next time out. I suspect they came into that area later in the day. I didn't have nearly the luck you had as I was casting vs. trolling (for the fun of it) and I eventually tried trolling a bait through this once I found out where the fish were. No bites. The fish in that area had a very bad case of "lock-jaw" until about the time I was done with it and ready to leave. The wind picked up and they started biting bait.

Here's the activity I finally found....

This one is for you. :-) It's a big ole' pile of crappie on a tree. And to think I forgot my crappie rod at the house that morning.... UGH!

Note for anyone wanting to know what app or sonar I'm using.....

Those are screenshots from my Lowrance. I posted them on Facebook (LOL!) and didn't have the pictures on file with me so I just used a screenshot on my phone of a screenshot of the Lowrance.

Hey.....it worked. :-)

Its amazing how a little wind gets things rocking. The crappie fishing this year has been great! I do feel your pain about leaving a rod home. As to my spot its got to be a evening thing, Me personal though is the lake stayed so low this year it gave the grass a good amount of time to grow and the slow upswing really helped it and the fish are moving in to feed on the baitfish in low light conditions using the grass as cover. We had to switch to the #5's from the #7's so we could run just above the grass.

I have no clue what is so productive about that stretch its maybe 100 yards long but always loaded with fish and usually big fish. We tried the long point to its North but the wind was way to much for us to cover it right! I know im going to give it a try soon if the wind lays down. Possibly head out very early Saturday morning and try and pick off more walleye and crappie until the hatch happens. Seems the Hatch is starting about 11am.

How do you get screen shots from your Lowrance to your computer? do I need an sd card? Once sd card is in do I hit screen shot on unit and it auto stores? I have HDS 7's.
