Quillback Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Got out early, had a good topwater bite for a while, up shallow on a couple of gravel points. After that died down I beat the buck brush for a while, that wasn't working for me, so c-rigged a Zoom Ultravibe speed craw in a couple of coves and picked up a few fish doing that. Every once in a while fishing the plastics, some top water fish would get active and I'd toss the Gunfish at them. Ended up with close to 25 black bass and one misguided white bass. Ran into RPS and introduced myself, nice meeting you, hope you found some keeper 'eyes.
