shaker Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Holy Cow oneshot you may just start the next bass fishing craze. Them turney anglers might start rigging carp bait, wonder if it would stick to a crankbait? Could put a big wad on a jig instead of jig and pig you would have jig and dough bait!
Wayne SW/MO Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 We'll have to get together oneshot and i'll show you my carp rigs. I don't eat them, but I love catching them. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
fishinwrench Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 This one ate a Sparkleminnow And this one took a clouser....well kinda I'd trade ya both of'em for that green bass.
oneshot Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 We had Buffalo for dinner yesterday.Like I told my wife I don't know why anyone in their right mind would throw them away. oneshot
fishinwrench Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Well, I don't consider releasing them "throwing them away". I keep hearing how delicious they are "when prepared right", but whenever you hear that disclaimer attached to some form of "food" that usually means it is on par with possum and buzzard.

I don't know about buzzard, but there is no way to get around greasy. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

My Ex would eat Possum but my present wife won't. My Son wouldn't eat Suckers until I showed him how to fix them now keeps wanting me to take him Sucker fishing. oneshot
fishinwrench Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 My Ex would eat Possum but my present wife won't. I have an ex I'd feed one to.
