Dirtracer35 Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 For Fathers day I was going to get my dad a transducer for his Lowrance X15-MT. I have found replacements on the internet. But they are all skimmers for the transom. And I cannot find one that is a puck for the trolling motor. My question is if anybody knows where I can find one. Or if there is a different one that would still be compatible with his graph. I know they make a skimmer adapter for the trolling motor. But we have tried that and it doesn't work as well as a puck does. Any help is appreciated. Thank you Shawn.
Dutch Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 You'd be mighty lucky to find one for that unit. Lowrance hasn't supported it for several years. What does the connection fitting look like? I have a puck which was special made for a unit several years ago. Let me know and I'll look for mine and see what it has.

Right......It works Better ! Which TM are you wanting to attach to? The "pucks" are/were plagued with skeg interference issues, which is prolly why they ditched them.
Dirtracer35 Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 I know it is an old model. But last year he purchased a 700series humminbird for the back. And he put the X15 up front. And with the high water recently at Stockton, the bushes pretty much destroyed the transducer. It will mark fish only half the time. And the clicks are very slow. I will try to post a picture tomorrow in the daylight of the connection. The TM is a motor guide. Up front.
