Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 13, 2013 Root Admin Posted June 13, 2013 I have a couple of guests who want to head down to Bull Shoals in the next few days and try for some walleye. They are experienced at catching them other places but no bs. I told them they'd have to consider cooler water from taneycomo. Not sure if I'm right. Can some one help? May be another area on bs? Thanks.
Ham Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Tucker Hollow is as far up lake as I go, but I only make it up there a handful of times a year. There are plenty of walleye up there though. They may want too try Leadhill / Diamond City area instead, but I like em both for walleye. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 14, 2013 Author Root Admin Posted June 14, 2013 My guys came back last evening with a glowing report. Put in at Diamond City and fished the points, bottom bouncing a night crawler on a roadrunner. Tried 20-30 feet - nothing. Move in to 10 feet and cleaned up. Didn't mention numbers but said they released a lot of walleye, both keepers and shorts. Caught fish all day yesterday.
lonkm Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 what size jigs were you using to stay on the bottom? what color too. great report
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 19, 2013 Author Root Admin Posted June 19, 2013 Only fishing 10 feet so I used 1/8th and 1/16th- either worked.
