So these two bafoons were who you looked up to and learned to fish from?

Now that there's funny!

Dubya looks like he's fishing for a clue... they must not have been biting...

I can't dance like I used to.

That explains why you have never posted a pic or a report.

...and this is the kinda unnecessarily confrontational reply we can expect from you. Don't need to go too much further than the thread you blew up earlier today to see that. Honestly, the last trip report of yours I remember was when you got in trouble with the law. You've sure got me beat on the pics. Wait...

Get your story straight. I didn't post a report about that trip, FishinCricket did. And it wasn't the law I had trouble with. In fact I didn't have trouble with anyone. It was a phyco landowner that had trouble with me. So nnnmmmeeeeehhhhhhh!

You are right though, and I have been beat on about this before, I have really slacked on posting reports. I didn't think you guy's cared for my reports anymore. But alas I feel the love. My daughter requested a float for this weekend, in fact I am fixing to fix some snacks here in just a minute. When we get done, I have to run to my dads and pick up a whistle pig. While I am there I am going to take a pic of a shadow box that I made him years ago and post it with the one T'fishR made for his dad. Then, when I get home, or maybe the next morning, I'll post a report for you.

As far as getting the story straight -- I did, you had trouble with the law. And a landowner. It's documented pretty well here. If you conduct yourself in person like you do here, I'm sure it's nothing new for you. Even though, I called the sheriff and put in a plug for you, and all fishermen, as did a few others here. You're welcome.

And why on earth would you criticize me if you admittedly don't post reports? If you were paying any attention, you'd see I just recently posted a report on a trip I made to Iowa. I guess it didn't look like something you'd be interested in, being about fishing and all. Regardless, this forum is about a whole lot more than reports and posting pics of the kids. A quick look of the last 10 or 20 posts from each of us would help you understand who contributes what around here.

You could probably add some value to this forum if you could keep your ego in check, quit ham-handedly trying to turn every discussion into a political fight, and just be civil to people. And it's fine if you want to post a report about your expedition today, but don't make out like you're doing us all a favor. Geez.

Man, I need a cigarett after that one Ness. Was it as good for you as it was for me? Ha.

Now if I may.

Since I never talked to the law that day, which as you say was well documented, I guess I didn't have much of a problem with them. In fact, as documented, it was a few days later before I even knew of any charges. And I didn't even find that out from the law. And seeing how I then went to talk to the top law officer near the end of the week and seeing how I walked out, doesn't seem like much trouble. He did mention you by name and said to me that because you called him, he had a change of heart.

I used to post reports weekly. My bad that I don't anymore. I guess I have gotten lazy. So you have admittedly posted one report and that has cleansed your soul for purgatory.

Now this political and ego stuff is intriguing. The way I see it, the political discussion is already going. But when I post my opinion 3 pages later, I am the one that turned into a politcial discussion . Fascinating.

Ego....ehhhh, I can see your point in that. I just post my opinion using a lot less words. I just don't need to use 6 paragraphs to say what I can say in 1.

Now if you will excuse me, I am exremely ticked because some one stole my homemade bed extender today at the put in.

Hah -- nice spin there. At least now you are acknowledging your other posts weren't accurate. Fact is, you were sweating bullets over that issue, and agreed to stay off the stream to keep it from going to court. Couple more rounds and what -- you told the sheriff to shove it and Prater went to jail?

But hey -- I've got better things to do than to continue to refute your attempt to rewrite history. If you can figure out a way to check that ego of yours and just treat folks right, you'll have less trouble here and on the stream. I think you've got it in you.

Hope you had a great day with your baby girl.

No spin here Deputy Dog. You need to go back and reread it.

It was very pleasant conversation I had with the sheriff. Where if you remember he was on the side of the floaters. Remember??? He simply asked that I stay away from that stretch for a little while and let things cool down. Fine with me. It wasn't until 3 or 4 weeks later that I got a letter in the mail. Remember?? As you stated, it is very well documented.

I think I have found a pattern here though. You continue posting factually inaccurate information as if you are a person who displays exceptional intellectual ability. And when I present the correct information so others are not led astray, you counter that with saying I have an ego problem.

Well played.
