Diamond City Fisher Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 My wife and I had a great two hours this morning in East Sugarloaf. We pulled into a point with flooded bushes and before I could get the trolling motor down, my wife had a nice largemouth on.....I thought here goes that first cast jinx. I flipped into the bushes and wham...another nice largemouth. Got in the water about 7am and by 8:30 we had caught and released 22 bass. They were a good mix of largemouth, spots and two really nice smallmouth. About half of them were keepers. This was one of our best outings on Bull shoals in sometime. The fishing has been good all week but it was great today. We intended to troll for Walleye, but just couldn't leave that kind of action. We caught them on watermelon candy and green pumpkin worms. Tried topwater, but just lookers and no takers. One gentleman coming into the ramp just ahead of us had a nice limit of Walleye....topped by a 23 incher.
lmt out Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Great job, that is a beautifull place down there wish I didn't live 3 1/2 hours away.
