What do you guys think, first part of next week, high temps predicted to be in the 70's. I'm hoping this improves the bass fishing, but then again I'm concerned the change may shut them down for a few days.

It was good last night, Doc and I popped a couple really nice Bass including his PB on Beaver. We both muffed on a couple monster walleye though :(

How big was Doc's PB? Were you guys fishing after dark?

Sorry to hear the big 'eyes got away, did you get them close enough to see them?

His was a 4.3 pounder nice chunky bass, I popped a 3.5 small and 3.5 Largemouth. Got to see my walleye right as he head shook around a 5 6 pounder his was 6 or better. I also caught a nice 8+ drum. We fished from 6;30 to about 10:30ish. Fish were over 50fow under shad balls.

Pretty neat set-up. Troll over the shad see the big fish below them and then hooked up to them as our lures trolled through them at about 15fow. No better way to end the week than a nice evening cruise picking up some nice fish.

Yesterday's cooler temps didn't matter (in Illinois)..but we were exploring- fishing new lakes.. Could likely had done better @ known good lakes. (Stip pits)

Are you trolling these just off the shore? Near bluffs? I have never walleye fished but just picked up some flicker shad now just trying to find where they are at. Do you just cast them off the back of the boat and start motoring? Any help would be great. Thanks.
