sms_alum Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I have downloaded a few different apps for my iphone and I have not been real happy so far with what is available. I assume there is not something available that would replace a GPS on my boat with hotspots loaded on it, but I was curious if anyone had found anything Apps they liked. I have an older boat that I don't plan on keeping for much longer so spending money to update the electronics is not really priority, especially since the depth finders work well enough for my fishing styles. Any body found any they like on their phone?
Members RoundBoyYamhy Posted July 16, 2013 Members Posted July 16, 2013 MDC has a GPS app for iphone, android and blackberry called "Find MO Fish". I have used it on Bull Shoals to find some of the brushpiles they put in. It looks like it has points on most of the good lakes in MO as well.
Ham Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Little Rock COE has an app for lake/river levels that makes keeping up with the White River a lot easier for me. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

et84 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I like FishHead for USGS levels. It's not free, but it's really slick. Monitors tides also, if saltwater is your thing. Guest Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 This is a screenshot for Monday, it's the day of the full moon. 100% rating. There's 4 times when it's great. Dusk/dawn, high noon & midnight. Any other timeframe is a crap shoot
