Members Gladdly Posted July 30, 2013 Members Posted July 30, 2013 We are on vacation in Branson and would like to catch some bass. We are without a boat. I was wondering if there are locations we can bank or dock fish at the Lake of the Ozarks with simple public access.. We have had very minimal luck on Table Rock from the bank. Btw, the post on night fishing was encouraging. We simply don't know the area at all and don't have a boat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Gladdly
Old plug Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Most public accesses here have fishing docks. If it is public access like Coffmens Beach on the Gravous Arm you might have sone luck because there are numerous tournaments and I have heard of people catching bass there. Other than that I do not know much about those areas.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 We caught about 70 crappie off the dock last weekend at the 53mm Coffman Bend are. Maybe 10 were over 10 inches. Lots of action the little ones kept us busy.
Members Ozark Ranger Posted August 7, 2013 Members Posted August 7, 2013 Yes there are great crappie and cats to be caught off the massive condo docks at Lake Ozark. Deep and slow usually works for the cats, crappie its all about tress. -'84 Ranger 395V w/ 225 Mariner EFI "A Bad Day Fishing, Is Away Better Then A Good Day Of Work"
