Greasy B Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 The first river is low water before the end of the drought last winter: The second river is after the drought ended and the river came up and up.: The third river is the one I hear of, deviant and obnoxious. I don’t know what you’re talking about. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
Wayne SW/MO Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Believe it or not the river is in great shape today, even with the rain all night. Probably couldn't fish it, what with Redbeard and a few others filling it with floaters. Hopefjlly none of them leave a mess on his picnic tables.LOL Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
dennis boatman Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 ...I was on the river Tuesday, after getting 2.25 inches of rain over here near Bolivar and it was absolutely perfect... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Members LetsGoToTheRiver Posted August 5, 2013 Members Posted August 5, 2013 We were planning a 3 day trip on the lower end wed-fri but it's out of the banks now it appears.
dennis boatman Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 ...and rising...may be a while... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Greasy B Posted August 5, 2013 Author Posted August 5, 2013 Might be fishable in a week but I would give it 2 weeks. Greasy B Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 This water could be a blessing for September. Wayne SW/MO Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 This water could be a blessing for September. It all comes down to the springs and I would think they're getting their share of rejuvenation, or I hope anyway. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
