Guest Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 So, fishwise, any thoughts? (Selfish, I know) JD, I've got a 3day rule. Start fishing the 3rd day after the river crests from a flood event. The wster level has slowed its drop at that point and it's a nice green or aqua color stain. Excellent conditions

Fishslayer88 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 My grandpa told me that a long time ago, purely speculation but i always thought it was because a lot of fish gorge themselves when the river is coming up then they are not hungry for a few days.
