Members CrappieNinja
One more question... I have a handheld Garmin eTrex. I've never had much luck getting on top of any of these between that and my huminbird... Are there any tricks to doing this right? ---------
shockley32
Tricks - yes and no! The coordinates on the site are in close proximity, not exact. Get close and start huntin' like a bird dog! Have your visited Limitville lately?
Dutch
Even on a good day you may be off 20' or more. I set a visable trail and use that to be sure I am not going over the same water while scouting.
Feathers and Fins
The best way to mark spots on any lake IMO is to use a Map and mark where you found the spot at what level the lake was and then with a range finder mark 2 points on land you know will not move. Even with spots marked on my units this is the best way I have found and use the visual spots more than the maps when im fishing in combination with the sonar. It will take practice but after a little time you can put yourself on the spots pretty easily just by sight. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
