Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted August 29, 2013 Root Admin Posted August 29, 2013 Looking for a Canon (or made for Canon) wide angle lens. Mine dropped and went pop. It was a 18-55mm but would consider something comparable. If you have one laying around drawing dust, drop me a PM.
ness Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 I don't, but want to throw out this website for you to look at. I don't have personal experience, but have talked to people who have. They have an excellent reputation in the photography community: keh.com John
Flysmallie Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 You might check into getting it repaired. I dropped one and the estimate to put it back in perfect condition was $125. It's a $500 lens. Check with Lawrence Photo in Springfield.
lee G. Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 My dealings with KEH have been positive also Ness.
ness Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 My dealings with KEH have been positive also Ness. Never heard anything but good about them. I've also heard their used equipment ratings are conservative at a minimum. So, you buy a 'like new' you're gonna get that or better. John
lee G. Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 That was my experience, I bought e or e plus , the highest rating, and it was used but like new.
