Members go4ducks2 Posted September 1, 2013 Members Posted September 1, 2013 Always great to see something like this especially since I'll be there in 2 weeks. Congrats!!
Quillback Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 I see a bag of frozen shrimp in the pic, think that's what they got it on?
gotmuddy Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 They said the pics of the boat were in front of Gastons but it looks like they have the fish at Wildcat Shoals takeout. thats not wildcat. the ramp has too much angle to it(I hate the ramp at wildcat) I see a can of corn in the boat. Chumming is illegal. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
taxidermist Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 The steep ramp is at Gastons, the other pics of the big fish is White Hole.
XP 590 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 "I see a can of corn in the boat. Chumming is illegal." I'm not familiar with the White. Is that a catch and release area where he caught the fish?

Is that a catch and release area where he caught the fish? Chumming is only illegal in areas where bait fishing is not allowed. From AGFC Reg book... Chumming is not allowed in trout waters designated with special regulations such as catchand- release areas, artificial lures only areas and areas where natural or scented baits are prohibited. The area where he caught the fish is not a C&R section. http://ozarksweetwater.com

He could have been chumming legally, and caught it on corn legally. Not my way of fishing, but I was just curious about the "chumming" comments above.
Ozark Sweetwater Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I have guided with Paul on some group trips and he is a good guide and fisherman. He is typically a fly fishing guide but will do some spin and bait fishing trips as well. http://ozarksweetwater.com
