ness Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Sa-weet! That's on the bucket list for sure. Where did you fish? How about access? I've always heard it was pretty tricky. Did you hire a ghillie, wear tweed? John
Buzz Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Lucky dog!!! It's on my bucket list too. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
Old plug Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Theyhave a dufferent attitude most everywhere in the britsh isles. Over here you would have wave runners tearing up and down those creeks
ness Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Interesting that you say Driftless area. I wouldn't have made that connection, but I kinda see the similarity in topography and the looks of the stream now that you mention it. No 400 year old bridges up in IA though. What about food, drink and lodging? John

Quillback Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Very nice, I didn't know there were any streams anywhere in Europe that you could fish without guides and licenses. Did you see any other anglers on the river?
