RSBreth Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I get lots of stuff from Barlows, Janns Netcraft, or Lurepartsonline. The look pretty good - I like bucktail or just a feathered treble on mine though.
ness Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 mic, when you say the skirts were 'made', what do you mean? I just assumed you'd buy the material and tie it on. John
mic Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 There are special pliers. The pliers seperate the rubber skirt band and allow you to pull through material cut from bulk rolls. Then the pliers have a special stand that allows you to pull the rubber tight (torking the pliers)... so when you cut the material the strands pull apart (on there own). Then do a little touch up, and you have a custom made skirt. Pliers are a little pricy ($20) but they simply last forever. The one at the store in highland was 30 years old. There is also a pen looking tool, but you need to use precut material (unless you want to pull the strands apart by hand).

I will say, try some inlines with a single straight eye hook. I catch as many fish, but snag a lot less moss (bank fishing farm ponds).
