Sprint21fter Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Just curious what the bass fishing has been with this hot weather will be fishing saturday and sunday and didn't know weather to focus shallow with the cool front coming in or stay deep and try to finesse fish for them?

jeb Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 EARLY morning is the thing right now, at least that's what I've been finding. Once the sun hits the water, they go deeper and are hard to get to bite. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
RSBreth Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 I fished around Beaver Cove last week and did pretty good very early on topwaters. Best was a white Terminator Tiny T buzzbait my son was supposed to be using but slept in. Caught a few decent Spots on it before the bite went deeper as the sun came up.
Feathers and Fins Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 6am to 7;15 top water after the bright ball is up they go deep and take the siesta. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Sprint21fter Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 Appreciate it fellas, will post how everything goes this weekend.
J-Doc Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Without giving away my buds info.........he and his co-angler boated about 15 on a buzzbait "somewhere around" the Rocky B area or adjacent areas. :-) Key thing was they were deep and not shallow. Buzzbaits in 60ft of water. LOL! Find the fish on sonar..........come back quietly and attack! A volley of buzzbaits and zara spooks flying like fireflies in the dark. Need marine repair? J-Doc Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 <<DISCLAIMER>> Said report above I provided comes from an *unnamed* forum member who has the fortunate luck to get topwater bites just about anytime of year and somehow always manages to scrounge and find some fish on a buzzbait whether or not the conditions called for it or made it the prime bait. In other words.... He slings it and gets lucky. Every dog will find a bone every once in a while. LOL! Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message.
