Doc picked up his big smallie in 43fow and the K in 27fow everything is still deep, dam deep bite is getting old lol

What depth were you throwing the c-rig? Sounds like the guys with the biggest bags were fishing DEEP. I saw lots of baitfish shallow. I expected to see a shallow bite pick up with the wind yesterday but I never found it.

We got bites from 3 feet out to 25 feet. Shallow bites were in a cove that had really stained water and wind on the bank, but other than that, bites were 10-25 FOW.

QuillBack did catch a nice one in about 35', and lost one he thinks was even bigger from the same spot.

Fished Saturday out of HWY 12, caught 14 short fish with one small keeper spot. 5 came on topwater the rest were dragging small jigs and carolina rigs.

I fished the White River arm yesterday from 1000-2. Had 8 total, one being a white bass. Only 2 keepers. Square bill and spinnerbait in less than 8 FOW. Leaves starting to fall. Beautiful day to be out. Water temp was 76-78.
