Wacha made one mistake tonight, but that was a gutsy performance. shakey defense has cost both teams. Should be rocking in stl on saturday. Love the double steal...

Yeah, Wacha didn't have his best stuff, and still gutted it out. Couldn't get some of his pitches over the plate, especially first pitch strikes.

The shaky defense for the Sox was brought on at least in part by the Cards' aggressive base-running, which rattled them a bit.

I'm just very relieved they finally won one in that weird ball park.

I was thinking the same thing, it is a very odd shaped ball field, the green monster deal, and the weird fence jutting out into the outfield.

Weird? I think it's beautiful! I like baseball parks that are unique and have their own personalities. Baseball parks, like the one in St. Louis, are generally so bland and generic.

They built our new staduim right on top of highway 40- it is possibly the worst staduim placement they possibly could have picked. Every time I drive by it I feel like if someone on one of the catwalks put their hand out I could slap it with my rear view mirror. What a design fail. The mud lot next to it for years was also an added bonus.

I do like Fenway's personality, old park and all, but the outfield is so odd.
