oneshot Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Went over to my Sons place to haul Walnuts for my Grandsons. They picked up 600 pounds after hulled. Then I stopped got some worms, went to Sons pond to catch Bluegill, throwed worm out under Float, hooked a Catfish, it got in Cattails broke my line. Well I had heavier Gear and Sonny's Blood Bait. Rigged up, throwed out, wasn't long catching Channel Cats. Looked over there was Rubs all around the pond, he told me to come out and hunt any time. Truth I am considering it, even though it is 50 miles there, at least take Grandson Youth hunt. He does have some acreage he never looks at, I might go over look it over. oneshot
blue79 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Hey oneshot..nice cats!! is this what you was using?I cant find any since their factory caught fire a couple years ago.The places i got it from started stocking other brands after they couldnt get it no more. That was the only bait i would bet money on.If there were catfish in a lake they would bite sonnys super sticky.

ciRe Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I can buy the sonnys in the 45oz for $15 in the stl area. Not to many places have it though.
blue79 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 when i first started using sonnys in 97 the only place i could find it was Kmart.
fishinwrench Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Sonny's has always been my second choice when Bowker's is scarce. When lunchtime rolls around it ain't half bad on a Triscuit.
