duckydoty Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Had a little time to try the crappie yesterday afternoon. My wife and I fished from 2 till 5 and concentrated on pole timber and brush piles in 28 to 18 feet of water. We managed to catch 22 crappie on blue grass colored Bobby Garlands with 16th oz jig heads. Most were just an 1/8th inch short but we did manage to land 8 keepers. Ended up releasing them all. Fun way to spent the afternoon. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
