They will be 25-0 over two seasons if they beat MSU (not a foregone conclusion by any stretch.) That, in my opinion, absolutely cannot go unrewarded.

I think that is what they got out of the 6 legitimate championships that count. You can't count the one because neither team played OK State to prove they were superior, so that leaves it in the conjecture category. Your argument crumbles when 2011 is added in, 21-0. Zip?

This much I can say, if Ohio faces Florida, Auburn, Mizz, Bama or Oklahoma in the National Championship I probably wont watch as they will get stomped. Yes they have the deserving record for them to be there but I seriously doubt they can beat any top tier team. If they face FL which I think they will then what Bama did to ND last year will look like a competition in compare. Ohio doesn't have doesn't have a team that can beat a truly good team. They haven't had to face anyone so far with any serious rank. Michigan is the 7th at #10 and could beat them and I hope they do as I would like to see the NC be a game worth watching.

Florida has faced 3 ranked team and blown them all out! A Florida Mizz game would be real good IMO as Mizz stopped A&M and I actually think they could stop Florida, Auburn also could. Either of those matching's would make for a fun game.

I don't like where Mizz fell in the standings beating 5 ranked teams should have moved them to #3 as Auburn only beat 4 ranked teams. I think to much was put on them beating bama.

Interestingly if we were a year ahead the top 4 are suppose to play 1v4 2v3 in playoffs. It would be Bama v Florida... Auburn v Ohio then the National championship and It could likely be Bama v Auburn how furious would fans be to see SEC v SEC again and its a real potential as typically the SEC has 3 to 5 teams in the top 10.

This could actually happen again this year.

If all hell breaks loose – the Seminoles and Buckeyes both lose – then the SEC wins big. Get ready for an all-SEC championship game for the second time in three years.

There is the possibility of Alabama Armageddon: a Crimson Tide-Auburn Tigers rematch of the breathtaking Iron Bowl played Saturday. If Auburn beats Missouri. Or we could have an all-SEC final between the Tide and Mizzou.

Part of the reason I'm relatively unconcerned is that there is a fairly small chance this matters. It's at best 50-50 that Mizzou even beats Auburn, and I think it's at best 50-50 that Ohio State gets past that Michigan State team and their defense. Chances are this gets sorted out pretty cleanly. It may be a mess when its all said and done, but we're not there yet.

Blaze I know and that's why so many people call the BCS a joke. If and its a massive IF both Ohio and Florida loose then Bama by defending NC and combined with voters could actually be in the NC again and the SEC champion by right of playing more ranked opponents than Ohio or Florida would play Bama. I know this way out there in space but until this weekend it could happen and then it could happen still.

I have to laugh thinking about it as how many people would be crying and banging their heads on keyboards across the nation but it is funny because its true.

Here is my prediction. Mizzou beats Auburn 28-17. Then we all go crazy watching OSU lose to Michigan State while Florida State blows away Duke.

Missouri then ends up taking on Florida State in the NC.

That is a possibility Blazerman. OK State would be a candidate, but the facts surrounding Mizzou's loss would give them a big edge, plus neither team represents a big influential state, so an even evaluation. That would leave the state of Alabama mad as all get out though.

Yeah. They'd really start taking each other out then. I am of course referring to the incident where one Tide fan shot another because she wasn't as angry about the loss to Auburn as she should be.

On a side note, I hate Ohio State. I hope they lose. There record would be more impressive if they played in a stronger conference and against more top 25 teams. They don't. So if they get left out because of their mediocre schedule, then so be it. Mizzou and Auburn for the SEC title game just blows my mind. Mizzou was a mid table team when they were in the Big 12, but now they're controlling their own destiny.

After two of the greatest college football games I've ever seen by the Auburn Tigers, I want to see them go for the NC. Sorry Mizzou fans. Gotta go War Eagle on that one.

I think FSU has a pretty good backup QB situation. They'll be a formidable opponent regardless of that situation, though less so if Winston isn't behind center.
