drew03cmc Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Al, you are right in that Ditko did pencil ol' Web Head, but in Thor 126 or Journey Into Mystery 83, Kirby did Thor. Kirby did Daredevil, Sgt Fury and most other Marvel books Andy
Wayne SW/MO Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I didn't read a lot of comics when i was a kid, didn't have a lot of dimes and the radio was free. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
ness Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I never did like the superhero/sci-fi/fantasy genres. Not in comics or movies. I did like Mad magazine and the old Car Toons though. I liked the spoofs and caricatures in both. John

ness Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I like the Onion, but haven't looked at it in a long time. Anchower and Smoov B cracked me up. John
Jack Jones Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 I was into GI Joe in the 80s, and Groo the Wanderer. That was the extent of my comic book forray. I still have them though, along with a few issues of the ALF comic, and GI Joe vs. Transformers.
