stone9-7=2 Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Went down to the Elbow area this am,fished untill 1 or so. Fishing was good,caught 15 nice crappie & a lot of dink's. 5 to 15 feet deep, on 1/6th oz jig. Standing timber. Could you smell um frying.

stone9-7=2 Posted December 10, 2006 Author Posted December 10, 2006 Some would think that,but i have found that is where they are usally at up untill early Jan. They have been that way for a few week's now. I think some people think they are deep this time of year,& they give up. I know one year the snow was falling heavy one day,up in Cricket at this time & belive it or not they were hitting from 2 to 5 feet. it was unreal.
