Feathers and Fins Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 We had so much fun with this last year I thought it was well worth doing again this year. Right now we are at 1,120.98 January the 5th 2014. What is your predictions for her and after you give your prediction and no scalping someone by less than a foot. ( THIS MEANS YOU DOC )! Now let the bad mouthing, teasing and harassment of all begin. My prediction is 1,128.00 I will let someone else start the harassing though I do have a pair of targets in mind one who stripps and rides a bow in fridged weather and the other had a special DI- Lure in the boat at the time the other stripped. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
jolicious Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I resemble that remark.. Um, 1135? I am not very good with lake levels (just another thing I need to learn).
Stump bumper Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Top of flood pool is 1130 so I will guess that since I think it will go over the dam. Winter pool should be down 5 feet and with all the snow this winter up north all the rivers will be flooded before the corp wakes up and thinks about flood levels, after all this is a river system.
Feathers and Fins Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 1137 will go over the road if my math is correct. 1135 is max it will hold. Gates typically have been opened at 1128.00 and im betting they get opened soon. Look at this weeks forecast it could happen if we have a lot of run-off from snow and rains. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Bill Butts Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I think it might be a wet spring--- 1130.00 Bill Butts Springfield MO "So many fish, so little time"
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 5, 2014 Root Admin Posted January 5, 2014 Hope you're all wrong... don't need another high water (flood) spring on Taney. I don't mind heavy flows as long as there's no flood gates involved.
Feathers and Fins Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Hate to show you this Phil https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Quillback Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I'd like water high enough to flood the buck brush, but not high enough to get the flood gates open.
Feathers and Fins Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Its in the brush now Quill and I am loving it. That certainly gets the walleye where I want them and will make crappie fishing outstanding. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
