duckydoty Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Is there any public river access between Hooten Town and Kerr access off Horse Creek Rd? A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Wayne SW/MO Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Yes. It's called Marblegound, Ponce, or Golf creek. It's on the road between McCall bridge and Ponce. It's basically a wide spot with a washed out two track leading to the river about 50' down. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
duckydoty Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 Thanks Wayne SW/MO. I was gonna ask about Rivermeade Loop Road off of Hwy V. Does anyone know if that is a private or public access? A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners

Fishslayer88 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I've been ran out of marble grounds a few times in the past but I think the owner either moved off or just gave up I don't know of anyone having any problems in the past couple years. There is also wheeler branch a few miles above kerr it's just off of Missouri AA it is pretty easy to find on Google maps but it's a better float to galena then kerr.
Wayne SW/MO Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Is that the place where AA meets the river? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Fishslayer88 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Yep, the road is a little steep but I drive down in there and park when the river is low enough and I have parked in the driveway across the road with no issues that house has been abandoned for years.
