Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 11, 2014 Author Root Admin Posted January 11, 2014 I couldn't tell ya. I had it restored later. Sold it early 90's.
fishinwrench Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I had a guy come in with an old '74 Ranger/65 Merc rig today. Still solid as a rock....the boat that is, the motor=not so much. Old Merc Thruster TM and original Byrd flasher is still in service though. Pretty cool.
Wayne SW/MO Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Is it the style of the ones I mentioned? I think my Hydra sport was a '77 and it was the wide flat boat with a pad. If the price was right I would think that s bathtub style would have some followers today. With stick steering you could search without ever leaving the vicinity of the seat. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
perchjerker Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 We use to fish the run just above that gravel bar and yes it did come out half way. the water was deeper, no one had motors that tilted up unless you strong armed them. Caught trout on a red wiggler worm, didn't inflate them back then, with a 3/8 oz. split shot. Stayed at the Sammy Lane Resort, rented the boat at Fall Creek. What great times those were. your tackle box was in your coat pocket..
